By accessing or using the website at concretecontractorhartford.com, or by requesting, scheduling, or receiving services from Hartford Concrete Company, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this website or our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and parties who interact with Hartford Concrete Company through any channel.
Hartford Concrete Company provides concrete contracting services to residential and commercial property owners in Hartford, CT and surrounding communities. Services include but are not limited to concrete driveway installation, patio construction, sidewalk building, foundation work, retaining walls, decorative concrete, and related concrete work. The specific scope of any project is defined in a written estimate provided before work begins.
All estimates provided by Hartford Concrete Company are based on site conditions observed during an on-site visit and the project scope discussed at that time. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
Final pricing may differ from the initial estimate if actual site conditions, material costs, or project scope change after the estimate is issued. We will notify you of any material price change before proceeding with additional work. Change orders must be agreed upon in writing before additional work is performed.
Free estimates do not constitute a contract or commitment by either party. No work will begin until a written agreement is signed by both parties.
Project start dates are scheduled based on crew availability, weather conditions, and material lead times. We will communicate your estimated start date in writing. Concrete work requires adequate curing time and is weather-dependent; we reserve the right to reschedule if weather conditions present a risk to project quality.
If you need to cancel a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or mobilization has begun may be subject to restocking fees or partial charges to cover costs already incurred. Any applicable fees will be communicated to you before they are applied.
Payment terms are outlined in the written project agreement. A deposit may be required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless otherwise specified in the agreement.
Overdue balances may be subject to a late payment fee as stated in the project agreement. Hartford Concrete Company reserves the right to suspend work on any project where payment is overdue. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue collection through legal means and to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.
Hartford Concrete Company provides a written workmanship warranty on completed concrete projects. The warranty covers defects in labor and installation workmanship for a period stated in your project agreement. It does not cover damage caused by ordinary settling, ground movement, tree root intrusion, freeze-thaw cycles beyond normal seasonal ranges, chemical exposure, heavy vehicle loads exceeding the design specification, or modifications made by anyone other than Hartford Concrete Company.
Material warranties, where applicable, are provided by the material manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will assist you in submitting a manufacturer warranty claim if a material defect is identified.
You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible on the scheduled start date, including clearing vehicles, personal property, and obstructions from the project area. Delays caused by inaccessibility may result in rescheduling and additional mobilization fees.
You represent that you have the legal authority to authorize the work described in the project agreement, including any required permits or HOA approvals. Obtaining permits is the customer's responsibility unless explicitly included in the written project agreement.
Hartford Concrete Company's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services or this website shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall Hartford Concrete Company be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of revenue, or loss of profit, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

If informal resolution is not possible, both parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating litigation. Mediation shall be conducted by a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Hartford, CT. The costs of mediation shall be shared equally between the parties.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of these terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Hartford County, Connecticut, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of this website or our services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
