These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Hartford Concrete Company website located at https://www.concretecontractorhartford.com (the "Site") and describe the terms under which Hartford Concrete Company("we," "us," or "our") provides concrete contracting services to customers in Hartford, CT and surrounding communities. Please read these terms carefully before using this Site or engaging our services.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use this website. Your continued use of this website following the posting of any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
This website is operated by Hartford Concrete Company to provide information about our concrete contracting services and to allow prospective customers to contact us. You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant or guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any content on this site. Pricing estimates, project timelines, and service availability described on this website are general in nature and do not constitute a binding quote or commitment. All formal estimates are provided separately in writing after an on-site assessment.
When you engage Hartford Concrete Company for concrete work, the following terms apply to the service relationship. These terms are provided here for transparency and are incorporated by reference into any written estimate or contract we issue.
All work is subject to a written estimate or contract signed by both parties before work begins. Verbal representations made prior to a written agreement do not constitute a binding commitment. If scope changes arise during the project, we will provide a written change order before proceeding with additional work. Any change order signed by the customer becomes part of the contract.
Hartford Concrete Company will obtain all required building permits in the contractor's name for projects where a permit is legally required. Permit fees are listed as a separate line item on all estimates. Projects that require permits will not begin until permits are approved by the applicable municipality. The customer agrees to grant reasonable access to the property as required for permit inspections.
Payment terms are specified in the written estimate or contract. A deposit may be required before work begins. Final payment is due upon completion of the work and final inspection sign-off, unless otherwise specified in writing. Balances not paid within the timeframe stated in the contract may be subject to a late fee as specified therein. Invoices not paid within 60 days may be referred for collection.
The customer is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the work area prior to the start of each workday, including moving vehicles, removing personal property, and identifying the locations of underground utilities, irrigation lines, and drainage structures not marked by Dig Safe Connecticut (Call 811). Hartford Concrete Company is not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities, structures, or property that were not disclosed to us prior to the start of work.
Concrete requires a curing period before it can bear full load. Specific curing instructions will be provided in writing at project completion. The customer agrees to follow these instructions, including restrictions on vehicle traffic and heavy loads. Hartford Concrete Company is not responsible for damage caused by failure to follow curing and maintenance instructions.
Hartford Concrete Company warrants that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards. The specific warranty period, coverage, and exclusions are set forth in the written contract for each project. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from acts of nature, settlement due to pre-existing soil conditions not disclosed at the time of estimate, vehicle traffic beyond rated load limits, or customer misuse or neglect.
To the fullest extent permitted by Connecticut law, Hartford Concrete Company's liability arising out of or related to any project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific project. In no event shall Hartford Concrete Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided.
